Kaboodle is an handy open-source LAN command console for Windows that has the ability to automatically detect your LAN population, connect two LAN's together across the Internet, and take remote control of whatever it finds. Its interface is not really attractive and looks rather old, but it is really intuitive and easy to use. In general, the program is thought for an average Internet user and provides some really useful network capabilities which require little knowledge on the subject. Moreover, it supports both Microsoft's Remote Desktop and VNC. With Kaboodle you can easily visualize your network, including your PCs, Macs, and printers with colorful graphics. You can also save your configurations or print them to have them always ready. All in all, Kaboodle will help you manage your local network like a real professional, and will allow you to perform maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and remote secure connections very easily and fast.
It supports Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003 Server, Linux and FreeBSD.
